Recipe of the month: This is not a Margarita
This month, discover the Margarita, which we offer in a revisited version without alcohol. His origin ? In 1948, an American, Margaret Sames, nicknamed "Margarita", used to serve her guests a beverage consisting of Triple Sec, Tequila and lime juice. The guests had no mail to find a name for this excellent recipe!
Ingredients (for 1 glass):
🌿 70 ml of JNPR n°1 , alcohol-free and sugar-free spirits made from juniper berries with a fresh and herbal taste for a perfect base
🍋 30ml lime juice
🍊 7.5 ml orange syrup
Recipe flow:
Prepare the orange syrup (squeeze an orange and add a tablespoon of powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly)
Squeeze a fresh lime, filter.
Decorate the rim of a coupette glass with salt.
In a shaker, add orange syrup, JNPR #1, lime juice and ice cubes. Mix vigorously using the shaker.
Pour into the coupette glass while filtering.
To accompany this recipe, nothing better than a homemade guacamole to almost inevitably sit on our aperitif tables this summer!
