Building taste without alcohol or sugar

In many non-alcoholic beverages, sugar is used to compensate for the absence of alcohol.

The problem is simple: alcohol naturally provides structure, roundness, and length on the palate. When it's removed, there's a strong temptation to replace it with sugar.

The result: often very sweet drinks that end up masking the aromas.

At JNPR, we made a different choice.

The JNPR collection is formulated without alcohol and without any sugar (0.0). The aromatic balance relies solely on the work of botanicals, distillation, and blending.

Distillation allows for the precise extraction of aromatic compounds from plants. It offers a palette of textures and structures that makes it possible to build a complex profile without resorting to sweetness.

This choice requires more work, but it leads to a much more precise result: a dry, structured, and clear taste.

A grown-up taste, to be learned and shared.
