Granma's Bitter Candy - Florian Nolle
with BTTR n°1
Ingredients
For the apple osmosis:
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 200 g sugar (weight of fruit in sugar)
- 35 ml of BTTR n°1
- 20 ml Granny Smith apple osmosis
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 5 sprays orange blossom water
- Sparkling water
Preparation steps
For the apple osmosis:
- Cut a Granny Smith apple into pieces and place them in a jar.
- Add the same weight in sugar and shake the jar lightly.
- Let it rest for a few days until the fruit absorbs the sugar.
- Filter the homemade apple syrup.
- In a shaker filled with ice, pour BTTR n°1, the Granny Smith osmosis, and the lemon juice.
- Shake vigorously then pour into a tall tumbler, straining out the ice.
- Add 5 sprays of orange blossom inside the glass, then fill with ice.
- Top with sparkling water and stir gently with a spoon.
